UStoWork President Carol Howlett has seen many people make the most egregious sin of job searching: stopping during the holiday season.
"I've seen so many people put their job search on hold during the holidays. It's not so much that they're working on their own holiday activities, it's just that they think companies aren't hiring. Not true! Companies have set their budgets and determined their staffing needs for the following year. They are actively interviewing for 2015 through the month of December."
So what should job seekers do this holiday season?
"Determine your ideal workplace, research the company, tailor your resume to that industry, and keep applying!"
